They also have free Internet access. Quite some inconsistencies with the rooms. Our first night we had an amazing room with a huge balcony and no problems with the TV. The second night our room's TV only had three channels and the fridge was broken. Clean, some rooms with spectaular views of the Acropolis and a (small) pool. A very good value. Review Provided by: Martin Sabba who traveled on 5/28/2009 Our room was good. It was well kept and very clean. The breakfast (included) served every morning was excellent. However, the Candia Hotel was not in a good area. I did not feel safe even walking during the day. Also, the front desk personnel left much to be desired. Anytime they were asked about certain sites and restaurants they had no recommendations or suggestions. All we were told that it was up to us to figure what is good or not. They often gave incorrect directions to sites. Also after a long day of sightseeing, we would look forward to having dinner at the hotel's restaurant. Many nights the staff would arbitrarily close the restaurant even though earlier in the day, they would tell guests that it would definitely be open. The hotel is only good for a night or two stay.
