Description Experience a taste of the ghosts of Ireland past at one of Ireland's most important and historic locations, the Boyne Valley. As part of your experience of this ancient land your Gray Line guide will lead you into the actual tombs of Newgrange (3000 BC).
This burial site is not only the oldest and largest Neolithic burial chamber in Europe but predates the Egyptian pyramids! After lunch (not included) enjoy a relaxed drive through the Boyne Valley, visiting the site of the famous Battle of the Boyne.
Finally, before returning to Dublin, visit Monasterboice, a spellbinding place which is home to some of Ireland’s most famous celtic crosses.
