Outstanding trip. Hotel Colon in Barcelona was superb, wonderful location across from the cathedral. Hotel Colon in Madrid was very modern, but also perfectly placed/located. Air France was, as always, the best airline flying today. Kudos to Go-Today staff.

Our flights between Boston and Spain were routed through JFK. We would have reduced travel time by close to 6 hours if they were direct from Boston to Madrid. All the flights were on time, except for the last leg from JFK back to Boston, which was over an hour late. One of our bags took an extra day to get to Barcelona, but at least it arrived. In Barcelona we wound up at the wrong baggage terminal because we didn't realize that our flight from Madrid was the shuttle. The Hotel Puerta de Toledo in Madrid was very convenient to the Metro, albeit 74 stairs up from train level. The hotel was somewhat dowdy but friendly, and we greatly appreciated being able to check into our room at 9AM after the overnight flight. NH Numancia Hotel in Barcelona was much newer, very comfortable, friendly and within 7 minutes walk from the main train station and Metro station. Overall we were very pleased with the trip. It would have been nice to fly direct between Boston and Spain, though.

This is the second time I have traveled with go-today in the last year and both trips have been great (Australia and Spain). I have traveled to Europe on several occasions and hotels are always an unknown entitity, but the hotels included in this package are outstanding. I upgraded to the standard option for only $75.00 more and stayed at the Husa Moncola in Madrid and the Silken Diagonal Hotel in Barcelona. Both were located steps from the metro and were definitely up to par with upscale American chain hotels. They were a little further away from the tourist sections than the ones that I stayed in while visiting Australia, but that is to be expected for the unbeatable price and the weak dollar. I would definitely recommend go-today travel for the independent traveler who doesn't want to go the tour route, but also doesn't want to stress about finding the right accomodations. I priced out the hotels and flights seperately and I saved at least three hundred dollars by choosing go-today.
