We were impressed by how clean and well-maintained everything is -- buildings, roads, parks, etc. Edinburgh is a good walking city, with lots of interesting architecture and statuary. The Highlands are pastoral (sheep everywhere!), yet wild and sparsely populated. We explored several castles, ruins, and villages -- and had some excellent meals! The logistics were smooth; our only complaint was the scare/high pressure tactics of the downtown Hertz office. This was our first trip via go-today.com, and we will definitely book another soon.
