After Via Veneto, famous for Fellini's movie "La Dolce Vita" and Piazza della Repubblica with the Najadi's Fountain, our promenade through the historical center starts with the famous Trevi Fountain till Piazza Navona (stop), always lively and picturesque, with the Four Rivers Fountain, Bernini's masterpiece. Along the way we will admire Piazza Colonna with the Column of Marcus Aurelius and the Pantheon, built in the 1st Century BC with the widest dome in the world (visit). Continue by coach to the Vatican, the heart of Christendom, passing by St. Angel's Castle. Visit Saint Peter's Square and Saint Peter's Basilica to admire, among others, the Pieta by Michelangelo.

Leave Rome along the Autostrada del Sole southwards. Halfway to Naples, the Abbey of Montecassino, completely rebuilt after the total destruction in the Second World War, can be seen high up on the hill to our left. Next, we go into the fertile countryside surrounding Naples. Here is where we can enjoy a short panoramic sightseeing. Now we are on to the way to Pompeii stopping for a visit to an ancient cameos and coral factory in Torre del Greco. When in Pompeii we will stop for lunch at a restaurant and visit of the excavations.

This is a combination tour of the Artistic and Ancient Rome tours.
Artistic Rome: Crossing the Aurelian Walls and the Park of Villa Borghese, we reach the Vatican Museums. During the visit you will admire: the Candelabra Gallery, the beautiful Tapestry Gallery and the interesting cartographic study in the Maps Gallery, the Raphael Rooms, entirely frescoed by the Master, and above all, the Sistine Chapel, where Popes are elected, with the "Genesis" and "Last Judgment" by Michelangelo, recently restored. After this portion of the tour we will have lunch in a typical restaurant.
