Malta Travel Guide
Travel to Malta Malta is home to a number of beautiful sandy beaches, but the island offers so much more than fun in the sun. Home to some of the world’s oldest known human structures, there is a long history in Malta waiting to be discovered.

A great start to learning the history of Malta is a visit to the Mediterranean Conference Center in Valletta. Here you will be able to view an audiovisual presentation into Malta’s interesting history.

After viewing the presentation on the history of Malta, you will want to head out and explore the island for yourself. Most visitors spend their time in Valletta, Malta’s capital. There are numerous cathedral and fortifications here dating back from the 16th century. From the Valletta’s Grand Harbour you will have a great view of the massive fortifications.

Valletta is also easily explored by foot. As you walk the city you will want to duck into the many museums, historic churches and the city’s many ancient sites. There are also numerous dining and shopping opportunities while venturing throughout Valletta.

As you explore Malta you will realize it is more than gorgeous beaches, its home to spectacular sites, fantastic history, ancient architecture and much more.
